INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT

We believe in the markets.

We believe in growing your precious, hard-earned money so that ultimately, you can spend your time doing what you love, and we will worry about the rest.

OUR INVESTMENT APPROACH

“To be a successful investor, you’ve got to be an optimist. You’ve got to believe in the innovations that come from the human mind and the human spirit.”

Charles Schwab, Invested

Every portfolio begins with asset allocation. And we rely on three main investment vehicles as our building blocks.

Stocks

We invest in individual equities as a cornerstone of our approach. We identify companies we believe will grow and outperform over the long run, and in some cases, companies who pay a steady, reliable dividend.

BONDS

We buy individual fixed income, too. Bonds either act as a ballast in a portfolio alongside stocks, or on their own, they are a less risky way of investing without exposure to the stock market.

ETFS

And exchange-traded funds are another tool in our box that provide optionality, particularly when buying individual stocks or bonds isn’t your preference or when buying a basket of securities gets the job done more effectively.

“Invest only if you would be comfortable owning a stock even if you had no way of knowing its daily share price.”

The building blocks comprise our strategies, each of which has its own unique mandate and thesis.

And speaking of unique mandates, we have a rigorous screening process we can apply to our strategies to align with various socially-, religious, or environmentally-conscious mandates that might be important to you.

So, how do we determine which solution is a good fit for you?
We ask you lots of questions.

What is your risk appetite like?
How comfortable are you with your portfolio’s value fluctuating with market changes?

What stage of life are you in?
What does your time horizon look like?

Do you have any personal beliefs or values that you’d like reflected in your investments?

Do you like knowing the companies you own, or are you more comfortable with an indexed approach of baskets of securities?
