As Director of Equity Research, Brett's activities focus on large and small cap equities, and the healthcare, technology, and finance sectors.  Brett is the portfolio manager of the New River Core Equity Fund.  Howe & Rusling serves as the sub-advisor to the New River Core Equity Fund.  Prior to joining H&R, Brett worked as an analyst and portfolio manager for several investment advisors, including Winnefeld Advisory Services, The Investment Counsel Company, and CMG Financial LLC. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kent State University and an MBA from the Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.  Brett obtained his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2003 and is a member of the Carolina Society of Financial Analysts.
